About Digital Festival 2016
The first edition of the Digital Festival took place in June 2016 in Brussels. The Digital Festival 2016 was an exploration of the technology shaping our interaction with the world.
Hosting over 1,200 delegates, we saw tech experts, Meetup groups, industry leaders and policymakers exchange ideas, form alliances and drive innovation.
Conferences in the EU capital largely focus on policy, legislation and regulation. The Digital Festival’s emphasis was on the contribution of tech to all aspects of life and the entrepreneurship and innovation which is alive and kicking in Europe.
The event shone the spotlight on the cutting-edge digital advances being made in the world. We saw inspirational performances demonstrating the apparently magical application of tech. We were shown the value of supporting our innovators who are finding new ways to turn ideas into reality.
This inaugural event set the standard for the Digital Festival. Stay with us as we scale new heights and explore the digital landscape of Europe.
